Musical Content[]

The EP provided two singles: Eighth Grade and They Stole My Drip the second being a parody of both Post-Malone's I Fall Apart, and Weezer's Zombie Bastards. The ep also features a re-recorded version of I'M SO SAD from YouTube Money Mixtape.

The album ends with a downtempo-inspired instrumental track Scarlet Sunset, which would get a sequel on Eat, Sleep, Flex, Repeat

Name Change[]

In 2021, Simon re-release his 'Yung Schmoobin' material on Bandcamp after being inspiration by a conversation with underground rapper Sematary. During which, Sad Lives Matter was renamed to Lol Depression and given a new album cover. Simon stated this was because the original was "really offensive and in bad taste." He's also expressed interest in the versions available on streaming making similar changes, but that has not come to be.

Critical Reception[]

The EP received mixed reviews from critics. It was given a score of 61 on Album of the Year from 7 users. Dedicated meme reviewer TheDankestMeme gave it a 5/10 rating on Rate Your Music.
