"God Mode" is the second studio album by rapper Lil Squeaky. It was released on July 24, 2020, as his first album released under Flex Entertainment. The album features guest appearances from Kid Floral, Lil Jdog, Lil Flexer, xofilo, Jocelyn Kennedy, J Coyn Drive, CRZFawkz, Kardia, and Lil Toy Yoda.

Many of the tracks on the album were produced by Lil Squeaky, with others being produced by 9TYEIGHT, Lil Jdog, Jocelyn Kennedy, YoungNikos, Jpbeatz, Hudson Beats, and GoldTides. Squeaky called it a "passion project," in which he sought to try out a variety of new sounds and styles of delivery and production.

Background[]

God Mode was originally going to be called Menace 2 Society, but Squeaky stated that when the original Menace 2 Society album was about halfway done, he scrapped the entire album and its concept in order to focus on making music that people would be able to return to more frequently aside from being joke songs. After removing his singles "Menace" and "Menace 2" from the album, he removed the Menace 2 Society title and re-titled the album "God Mode," a reference to the way he would reference creative mode while playing Minecraft with other members of Flex Entertainment on the second Flex minecraft server.

To keep fans entertained before the album, Squeaky released an extended-play "Squeaky 4 President" on April 17, 2020, which was met with mostly positive reception. It featured the tracks "Nipples" and "Campaign" which were intended to appear on the album. "Nipples" was cut from the album days before its release but "Campaign" was remixed with fellow Flex Entertainment rapper Kardia. "Rollercoaster" was released on July 3, as the first single from the album.

Singles[]

"Rollercoaster" was released on July 3 as the first single from the album. It peaked at No. 53 on the Flex Entertainment Hot 100.

Both "Nipples" and the Flex Gang, vol. 2 track "Moonshine" were originally intended to be included on God Mode, but were ultimately cut from the tracklist.
