Brad gave it a 80/100 saying, "This is the project I have waited for from Yung Schmoobin. It’s clear he put so much more effort into this tape. It does exactly what it set out to do. It is fun, and I genuinely enjoyed it front to back." TheDankestMeme gave it a 82/100 stating that it "finally brings the promise that he has shown only in small amounts in the past." Toasterqueen12 gave the project a 90/100, telling people in the Flex Fan server that it was "phenomenal". Tracks like the title track and "All That" received the most praise from the project. It currently sits at a 64/100 with 92 ratings.
The mixtape has not been looked back upon particularly fondly, with many finding it boring and overhyped. Some have stated that they felt like they had their positive opinions "prescribed to them." The tape is also seen as the catalyst for the beginning of the dark ages era as it's success on AOTY lead many people to attempt to focus more on pleasing critics on that site as opposed to making the music they actually wanted to make.
